There is news every week about how the economy is doing.  There are highlights about certain segments that are going great,  Home Sales Power Optimism, Banks See Record Profits, and Americas New Energy Boom Is Bust for Foreign Suppliers.

However, this party didn’t seem to include the middle class.  We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
